It was November, and bush fires had broken off all along Main Range. What we thought might have been the end of our time photographing outdoors turned into one of the most spectacular sunsets for newlyweds Bec and Alex.

One of my earliest weddings while I was seconding with wedding photographer Josh Delgado, this secret little hilltop in Boonah and its surroundings would go on to become the center piece for my final university project, which you can read about here.

Even casual shots of the wedding party milling about like the one above were imbued with a cinematic quality. Between the soaring landscape and the setting sun, this was truly a magical afternoon.
