“What’s the most important thing on your mind right now?”

That’s what they asked us when we were considering our final projects.

What was on my mind was that the world had shut down and that the boy I had fallen in love with was stuck on the other side of it, and we didn’t know when we’d see each other again. Would the world ever be the same again? Will borders ever open again?

Dramatic questions in hindsight, but honest anxieties as we were living through them.
